World Hunger Charity Event

09/22/2010 |

Hey Everybody!  We wanted to let you know about a way to get tattooed while helping to feed hungry children across the world at the same time.

Pizza Hut at 11510 Abercorn St. in Savannah, GA will be hosting a yard sale, a silent auction and a carnival to raise money to fight world hunger. We have donated 2 gift certificates valued at $5o each for this event. This means you can bid on them as well as many many other donated items and because Pizza Hut is paying all administrative costs for the event, 100%, that's right, 100% of the money raised will be going to the World Hunger charity, so it's not one of those "it took 98% of the money raised to pay for administrative costs so only 2% of the money raised goes to charity" kind of events. This is the real deal.

Please come out and support this. The yard sale will be going on Saturday, October 2nd from 7 AM to 11 AM. The silent auction and the carnival will be going on the following day, Sunday, from 1 until 5 PM, so you can bring out the whole family for a day of fun and 100% of that money will , as well, be going to World Hunger.

Hey, you could get a good deal on a great tattoo, a tax deduction, help feed starving children, teach your children the importance and fullfillment of giving, have loads of fun with your family, score huge on items from the yard sale and silent auction, and eat loads of pizza all at the same time. It's a win win for everybody involved.

I will go even 1 step further. If your bid doesn't get you one of the gift certificates and you still want to be tattooed, bring me anything from this event that proves you bought items from the sale or donated to the cause, and I will give you a 10% discount on any tattoo or $5 off of any piercing.

Why am I so into supporting this?   "I was hungry, and you fed me, I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink, I was naked, and you clothed me, I was sick and in prison, and you visited me. If you have done this for the least of these, you have done this TO me." - Jesus Christ.  I also have an 8 yr. old beautiful baby girl and I can't imagine her having to go to bed hungry. Could you imagine that with your kids?

Think about that and then please come out and support this.

Grace,

David
